Analysis: This latest solid effort makes Pineda 5-1 with a 2.88 ERA in eight starts since his rough season debut at Tampa Bay. The towering right-hander has also been consistent in the strikeout department, logging at least six K's in eight of his nine outings. He's now 4-1 with a 2.18 ERA at home this season, and next gets the A's at Yankee Stadium on Sunday.

Analysis: The big right-hander was shaky throughout, but good enough to win for only the second time in 16 road starts. Pineda served up two more homers and has allowed 10 through eight starts. However, in the last seven, he's given up no more than three earned runs or six hits.

Analysis: The towering right-hander was dealt his first loss since his season debut on April 5, ending a five-start unbeaten stretch in which he posted a 2.32 ERA and limited opposing hitters to a .186 average. Pineda also notched at least six strikeouts for a seventh straight time and now has 50 K's in 41 1/3 innings.

Analysis: Two of the three hits Pineda allowed were solo homers, and Brett Gardner got him off the hook with a three-run homer in the ninth. Since getting roughed up in his first start, Pineda is 3-0 with a 2.32 ERA in his last five while striking out 37 and allowing 21 hits and five walks over 31 innings.

The right-hander struck out six while allowing six hits and one walk.
Analysis: Pineda (2-1, 3.44 ERA) has pitched brilliantly in each of his Yankee Stadium outings, but he'll next start on the road Saturday in Pittsburgh. The enigmatic hurler was 2-7 with a 4.91 ERA away from home last season and was blasted for four runs and eight hits over 3 2/3 innings in a loss at Tampa Bay in his 2017 debut.
